Do you want to sell more design services at a price you set and define the deliverables? Yes! This post will help you get the low down on our latest feature My Design Services.
The feature allows clients to purchase specific design services directly from your portfolio. It's slightly different than our current one-on-one project in the way that we give you options to set your own price and the number of designs you are willing to provide clients for that budget. This will not only give you more freedom and flexibility over your pricing, but also be useful for clients who are looking to do follow up work. You can negotiate a payment amount and set a new service which the client can then purchase from you.
Getting Started
To get started, log in and go to the following url: https://www.designcrowd.ca/designer-account/1x1-services.aspx
You should see a new item in your navigation menu called "My Design Services":

>
When you go to this option, you will be given the option to add a new service and provide more details on what your offer includes:

>
On this page you can set a price for the service, determine if you will allow the service to be refundable or not, indicate the number of designs you are prepared to provide and describe your offer.
Once the service is added, it will be displayed on your profile page and you can edit according to your needs:
This is what clients will see when they go to your portfolio page:
Each service is linked to a landing page which is linked to from your portfolio page that you can share with clients.
For example: https://designers.designcrowd.ca/services/XXXXX/YY/tweak-existing-business-card-design
In the case of follow up work allows clients get the ability to hire you for the service and work one-on-one. You can also share the link out to 3rd party sites so new clients can hire your for work on DesignCrowd:
I hope you found this post helpful. You're now ready to start promoting your services to the world. Make it rain!
