North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has just been sighted for the first time, after being completely AWOL for almost 6 weeks. Speculation mounted over the conspicuous prolonged absence of the camera-loving leader from the public eye. Could he have been sidelined by a cable of generals or perhaps he was recovering from plastic surgery? Conspiracy theories flew around the internet, then suddenly Kim was back.
What did Kim Jong-un do with his time out of the office? Where was he?
We put those questions to our worldwide community of graphic designers in fun contest that asked designers, where was Kim?. Designers were invited to photoshop Kim Jong-un in a variety of leisure, holiday pastimes, or anywhere else you anticipate he's been hiding.
The criteria? "The most creative design, and the one that gives us the greatest laugh has the best chance of winning :)."
DesignCrowd's designers demonstrated a high degree of creativity and humor in their responses. Clearly, the competing designers had a lot of fun. From Kim hiding in the Matrix to bodysnatching Kpop star Psy to a Pride March then busting out beats at a dance party in Ibiza, Kim has been a busy boy. Enjoy!
