"Deal of the day" or "Group Buying" websites are popping up all over the world.  They're the new startup trend and the valuations and capital they're attracting are creating waves in the online world while the discounts they're providing are creating waves for bricks and mortar retailers. With so many of these sites available chances are that if you work as a designer, and work with startups frequently, you'll have a deal site looking for your services soon.

The following 40 group buying website logos are from niche, vertical or lesser-known deal sites from all over the world. Check the design techniques and themes they employ (from coupon logos to cart logos) to try and distinguish themselves within a crowded (but hot) market.  We've categorized them into "the good", "the average" and "the ugly".  This is, of course, only our opinion and, as demonstrated by foursquare, you can still be successful with an "ugly" logo.
