You can now communicate better with customers and get expect more detailed feedback from customers! We've just added some hot new features to the DesignBay website:
1. A new rating system
Customers can now rate each and every design that you submit. Your designs will be rated out of 5 on the following dimensions: creativity, quality, fonts and colors. Customers will also be encouraged to provide general comments for each design you submit.
We will soon be publishing your average ratings on your profile for other designers and customers to see (so do your best on each and every design!). | | Creativity |  | | | |  | | Quality | | | | | | | Fonts | | | | | | | Colors | | | | | | | We are also planning to add a rating system for multi quote projects that you win (our planned rating dimensions for multi-quote projects will be: creativity, cost, quality, professionalism, )
2. Elimination of designs
Designers might find it useful to know when a customer thinks "I will definitely not use this design". Customers can now eliminate your designs. When a customer eliminates a design from an open brief or project, it means they will not buy the design and they are not going to use that design.
3. Concept descriptions
You can now submit concept descriptions to customers when you send them a design! This should help sell your idea (particularly when your working on a logo design) to a customer and should increase the speed with which customers buy designs. We will start publishing these concept descriptions publicly when someone visits your design.
Going forward
We're working on heaps of other new features but our short-term focus is now going to shift to making sure customers close projects in a reasonable time frame! We will start giving them some deadlines and putting some boundaries on their behaviour so designers get paid sooner and can move on to their next project sooner!
