However, you would be suprised to hear that zhubajie.com (a Chinese crowdsourcing site) has trumped this list of employers by almost double - having over 4,284,400 employees. In fact, zhubajie is growing at such an astronomical rate that an average of 5300 Chinese are signing up everyday to work on the site.
This continual rise to prominence of crowdsourcing sites in the Chinese market is nothing unusual. According to zhubajie, over 50 million employees are working on sites like this one across China. To put this number into context, this is more than the population of Australia, Greece and Sweden combined.
