Dear DesignBay User,
DesignBay has been growing rapidly and to build on this I'm please to announce that we recently acquired and have now merged with another large freelance graphic design community. While we have kept everything that was great about DesignBay, our new name is "DesignCrowd" and our website address will now be www.designcrowd.com - so write it down, update your bookmarks and tell your friends!
Our merger with DesignCrowd is exciting - it has added 8,795 earnest and talented designers to our existing user base (taking our total community size to 12,435). It will also brings new customers to our site and means existing customers will have 12,435 more good reasons to use our service! Please join me in welcoming these designers and customers the new DesignCrowd website!
As part of the change, you will notice our website has adopted a new logo, a new layout, a new homepage www.designcrowd.com (along with new web addresses) and an updated User Agreement.
Everything else is how it was on DesignBay so underneath all these improvements you can use DesignCrowd in the same way you used DesignBay!
Going forward we will be investing heavily in the DesignCrowd community and website. We've heard your feet stamping and requests for changes on DesignBay and, unfortunately, we've put these on the back burner while we worked on merging with DesignCrowd. We're now ready and super keen to make DesignCrowd the best it can be. We will be adding improved payment processing, discussion forums and some some innovative new products in the coming months. In summary, expect a) improvements and b) big things!
